DEATH NOTICE
Mrs. Jeannine Malette of Hawkesbury passed away on Thursday, November 30th, 2023 at the age of 94.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edmond Cayen;
the daughter of the late Antoine Malette and the late Lilia Castonguay;
the beloved mother of Claudette (Réal Lafleur), Denise (Denise Paul), Michel (Nathalie Houde);
the beloved grandmother of many grandchildren;
the great-grandmother of many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother Lucien Malette and by several of her children: Jeannine, Thérèse, Raymond and Jean-Guy.
She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to thank the palliative care at home staff for their kindness and good care.
The family invites relatives and friends to the Berthiaume Family Funeral Home, 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511, on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023 from 2 to 5 p.m. and on Thursday, December 7th, 2023 from 9 a.m.
A service will follow on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
For those who wish, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2300 Yonge Street, Suite 1200, P.O. Box 2414, Toronto, ON, M4P 1E4 would be appreciated.
The funeral home will make a donation in memory of your loved one to the Food Bank.
