DEATH NOTICE
Mr. Rolland Villeneuve of Hawkesbury, Ontario, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the age of 93.
He was the loving husband of Rita Villeneuve (née Vallée);
son of the late Hormidas Villeneuve and Cécile Bourdon; beloved father of Gilles (Brigitte Ashby) and Marc Villeneuve; beloved grandfather of Guillaume, Justin, Ciara and Alex Villeneuve; brother of the late Roger and half-brother of Claude, Monique(Claude Bourcier) and the late Colette Villeneuve.
He was also the beloved nephew of his aunt, the late Hilda Villeneuve, who raised him and his brother Roger following the death of their mother.
He is also survived by a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Funeral service will be held at the Saint-Pierre-Apôtre Parish in Hawkesbury on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The family will be present from 10:15 a.m. to receive your condolences.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their compassionate care. For those who wish, donations to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation, 1111 Ghislain Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario, K6A 3G5, would be greatly appreciated.
In addition, the funeral home (Berthiaume Family Funeral Home) will make a donation in memory of the deceased to the Hawkesbury Central Food Bank.
