Monsieur Walter Roy Tomchishen de Vankleek Hill
est décédé le mardi 19 juin 2012 à l'âge de 69 ans.
Il était le tendre époux de feu Patricia Newton;
le fils de feu Wlademer Tomchishen et de feu Marie Antoinette Delaniello;
le père bien-aimé de Danielle, Christine (Douglas), Mario, Chantal, Claire (Philippe) et Katie;
le grand-père adoré de Jessica, Joey (Cassie) et Matthew.
Il laisse également sa belle-mère Frances Newton ainsi que la mère de ses enfants ainés Madeleine Mousseau.
Walter a fondé L'Escale Musique à Hawkesbury dans les années 1970. Il avait une grande passion pour la musique. Il avait été tout récemment reconnu pour ses quarante années de service dans la communauté.
La famille invite parents et amis au Salon Funéraire Berthiaume Ltée. 416, rue McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511
Le mercredi 27 juin 2012 de 14h à 17h et de 19h à 22h ainsi que
le jeudi 28 juin 2012 à compter de 9h30.
Les obsèques auront lieu en l’église presbytérienne Knox de Vankleek Hill, Ontario, le jeudi 28 juin 2012 à 11h.
Inhumation au cimetière Greenwood à Vankleek Hill, Ontario
Pour ceux qui le désirent des dons à la Association canadienne du diabète, 119, rue Sydney, Cornwall, Ontario, K6H 3H1 seraient appréciés.

My sincere condolences to the family of Wally Tomchishen. I knew Wally from visiting his music store in Hawkesbury and buying musical instruments from him. He was always friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to run into him out and about last year and he was still the same, friendly and wonderful.

My deepest sympathy to all of Walter's family and friends. Walter was such a cool soft spoken gentleman and a dazzling accordion player in the days. Although I only met Walter a few time over the years, I will never forget my first gig playing with him at the Lachute Golf Club. His upbeat jazzy style lite up the entire party not mentioning the priceless feeling and memory I still cherish today of his music and the nice human being he was. My dad Paul also enjoyed his piano style. You will be missed, Wally. Rest in peace my friend.
