Mme Mary Beks de L'Orignal est décédée le mercredi 9 mars 2022 à l'âge de 93 ans.
Elle était l'épouse bien-aimée de feu Francis Beks ;
la fille de feu Harry Roefs et de feu Anna Brouwers ;
la mère affectueuse de Gerry (Diane D'Aoust), Harry (Jean Henman), William (Elaine Leduc), Ann Marie (Peter VanSleeuwen), feu Willemina (Henry Byvelds), Janie (George Byvelds), Tina (Mike Calberry), Frances (Normand Riopel), Joanne (Michel Blais), Bernadette (Louis Pilon), Nelly (Dan Dazé) et Theresa (Doug Belanger) ;
la grand-mère adorée de nombreux petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants ;
la chère sœur de Josephine (Peter Peteers), Tina (feu Gerry Smolenaars), John (feu Anna Mae) et Tony (Rita).
Deux frères et deux sœurs l'ont précédée dans la tombe.
Elle laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux beaux-frères, belles-soeurs des Pays-Bas, cousins, neveux, nièces et amis.
Les détails des funérailles ont été confiés à la Maison funéraire familiale Berthiaume 416, McGill, Hawkesbury, Ontario (877) 632-8511.
Une célébration aura lieu dans l'intimité de la famille immédiate.

A few years ago, I was caring for my mother as she was going through cancer treatments. There were times when she was too weak to stand, and could barely speak, but when Mary would call, I would hold the phone to her ear and watch her eyes light up as the two old friends spoke.
