AVIS DE DÉCÈS
Thomas Murphy Sr., d'Ottawa, est décédé subitement le vendredi 28 novembre 2025, à l'âge de 60 ans.
Il était le fils bien-aimé de feu Michael Murphy (1993) et d'Evelyn Murphy (née Levesque), le père adoré de Thomas Jr. et le frère cher de Mary Jo, Michael (Linda), Maureen (George), feu Joseph (2016) (Nicole), Kelly (feu Guy), John, Billy (Gerry-Lynn) et Kathleen (Bruce). Thomas laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux oncles, tantes, cousins, neveux, nièces et amis, qui le regretteront tous profondément.
Une cérémonie aura lieu en privé.
Pour ceux qui le souhaitent, des dons à la Mission d'Ottawa ou à l'Institut de cardiologie d'Ottawa seraient grandement appréciés, car ces causes tenaient particulièrement à cœur à Thomas.
Thomas était une âme généreuse et douce, dont on se souvient particulièrement à Noël pour sa chaleur, sa bonté et sa barbe blanche, qui lui ont valu le surnom affectueux de « Père Noël ». Sa famille se souviendra également avec émotion de son enthousiasme pour la chasse aux grenouilles avec ses frères, qui leur procurait un revenu lucratif et un mets savoureux. Repose en paix, mon frère, auprès de ton meilleur ami James, de ton frère Joe et de ton père. Jusqu'à ce que nous nous revoyions, pour toujours 9, pour toujours Tom.
